Nogueras for County Commissioner is proud to receive the endorsement of such an experienced and independent public servant like David Hoffman. Hoffman, 42, is a former federal prosecutor, reform leader, and corruption fighter who will bring a distinguished record of 16 years of public service and independent, effective advocacy for Illinois taxpayers to the U.S. Senate. As Inspector General for the City of Chicago for the past four years, Hoffman transformed the Inspector General’s Office into a fiercely independent and highly professional anti-corruption office. Hoffman served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in Chicago from 1998-2005, and was appointed Deputy Chief of the Narcotics and Gangs Section by U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald. State Senator William Delgado was also on hand to announce his support for this “independent movement or change.” ____________________________________________

On Wendsday, December 16th, IVI-IPO Board of Directors officially endorsed Xavier Nogueras over his two opponents. The IVI-IPO has been in existence since 1944.
It has been dedicated to good government activism and an idealistic
vision of open, honest government in Illinois through pragmatic
means that confront cynicism and corruption with equal force.
The organization's primary tools are voter's registration, voter
information and candidate endorsement. We also lobby on behalf
of governmental reforms designed to open the system and better
inform the public on the political process. _________________________________________ Cook County Clerk Announces Nogueras First On The Ballot United For Nogueras excited about placement On Monday, November 9th, a lottery was held to determine the ballot positions of candidates running for Cook County office.
